Studying history – the story of humanity through the ages – develops your knowledge of the past and gives you a better understanding of the present. Pursuing the BA in Journalism, Media and Communication will engage you in useful learning in a broad professional context, which includes a critical understanding of the media industry, while acquiring technical and professional skills in journalism, communication, information design and management, and using them in the dynamic media market of Glasgow and beyond.

- Higher English, Maths/Applications of Mathematics National 5 B-C, or equivalent
Scottish HNC, standard entry requirements: Pass
- HNC Social Sciences: A in Graded Unit; Maths National 5 B, or equivalent
Scottish HND, standard entry requirements: Pass
- HND Social Sciences: AAB in Graded Units may enable second-year entry to History with Politics & International Relations or Psychology with six HNC/HND credits in each of the two subjects
