Course description
Throughout this course, you will develop a versatile skill set, blending technical proficiency with creative artistry. You will learn:
Fantasy Make-Up: Explore bold, imaginative looks and creative themes, pushing the boundaries of conventional make-up artistry.
Beauty: Drawing and Colouring Design Skills: Master the fundamentals of sketching face charts and experimenting with colour theory to design unique beauty concepts.
Facial Skin Care: Gain essential knowledge of skin types, cleansing, toning, and moisturizing techniques to create the perfect canvas for make-up.
Day Make-Up and Basic Corrective Make-Up: Learn natural, everyday looks and corrective techniques to enhance features and address imperfections.
Bridal and Evening Make-Up: Create elegant, long-lasting looks for weddings and special occasions, focusing on precision and attention to detail.
Manicure: Develop foundational skills in nail care, including filing, shaping, and cuticle maintenance for professional results.

Entry requirements
Two National 5 qualifications at grade C or above preferably English and a Science subject; NQ/NC qualification at SCQF level 5 in Beauty Care; OR other equivalent qualifications or experience.You are required to be 16 years of age to undertake this course.
