You’ll be responsible for managing all aspects of consents and permissions needed for projects.

What it's like
As a consents manager, you’ll make sure that permissions and documentation are in place for a project, such as a wind farm or power line, to be carried out legally and responsibly.
You’ll oversee environmental and regulatory compliance. This role is important in preventing legal issues, delays and fines. Consents managers help the project stay on track.
As a consents manager, you might be involved in:
huge projects in offshore or onshore wind farms that make clean energy
making sure new buildings are safe on a construction site
improving our water systems by checking permissions to build new pipes or reservoirs
Your tasks might include:
managing consents and approvals
keeping up to date with regulatory requirements
collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders such as local authorities or governmental agencies
co-ordinating with technical and legal teams to make sure consent applications are correct and legal
maintaining documents and preparing reports
conducting risk assessments
